4.38 Creating a Job

Viewpoint lets you create a job directly from the Workload page.

You must have been granted the "Create Job Page" Viewpoint permission and the "create-jobs" domain permission to create a job.

Do the following:

If you have not already done so, display the Workload view. (Select WORKLOAD from the menu; depending on your user credentials you may also access the Workload view from the Home page.)
Click Create Job.
Select the applicable application template from the Template pop-up window.
The Create Job page appears with the fields from the selected application template.
Enter the necessary information for the new job.
Click Create to submit the information; otherwise, click Cancel to return to the Workload view.
