About setup
This section of the guide is intended to help administrators install, configure, and customize Viewpoint. It contains instructions for installing or upgrading to Viewpoint 7.2.10 (see About Viewpoint installation and setup), describes how to configure Viewpoint to run over HTTPS and how to integrate Viewpoint with single sign-on (SSO) authentication (see About Viewpoint security configuration), and explains how to make personal customizations to your instance of Viewpoint—including how to customize navigation, backgrounds, Homepage gadgets, DataView pages, and Viewpoint logging (see About Viewpoint customization).
This section differs from the rest of the guide in that the tasks associated with this section are not specific to user interface elements of the product.
