Deleting services
Context
From the Service Management page, Viewpoint allows you to delete a service. You can delete individual services, or container services. However, please be aware that if you delete a container, you also delete all the services within the container.
To delete a service
- Go to the Service Management page (Services > Service Management). For more information, see Fields: Service Management.
- Select the role(s) you want to delete. (Click once to select; click again to deselect.)
- Choose Delete.
- Select Delete service(s) now, and the services are removed from the list. To cancel, select Don't delete service(s).
When you delete a container template, you also delete all the services it contains.
When you choose Delete, a confirmation message appears.
A message appears and tells you that the services were deleted successfully.
