Customizing the Viewpoint background and login screen

By default, the Viewpoint login page and the main Viewpoint background have a blue gradient background, an arch image, and a Moab Cloud Suite heading. Each page within Viewpoint has a similar heading image. You can customize these images to change the look and feel of Viewpoint.

In order for the new images to display correctly, you must create them using the same dimensions as the default images.

Image Description Dimensions in pixels (WxH)

A blue-to-white gradient that creates a dark background for the header and blends into the white main background below.

If you choose to change the Viewpoint background color from its default blue, select a color dark enough to provide contrast for the white text and links above the main content.

To customize the Viewpoint background

  1. Copy the default image(s) from the web-app/images/core directory into a separate directory in case you need them again later.
  2. Rename your new custom image to match the name of its corresponding default image. For example, if you are replacing the arch logo on the login screen, you must call your new image body-arch.png.
  3. Drop the custom image(s) into the web-app/images/core directory to replace the default ones.
  4. The login page and/or the main Viewpoint background reflect your modifications.
