Viewpoint overview

Viewpoint is a web application that interacts with Moab Workload Manager to allow users to manage jobs and resources without the complexities of maintaining Moab via the command line. Viewpoint uses a customizable portal to allow users to view and configure jobs, reservations, nodes, Homepage gadgets, tenants, roles, and billing capabilities for chargeable actions. The flexibility of Viewpoint facilitates customized settings, such as the amount and type (verbosity level) of information in the log files, the type of security, and permissions (which are managed in roles). The Viewpoint permissions allow administrators to specify which pages, tools, and settings certain users or groups are permitted to use, manage, and view.

To run Moab Viewpoint, you must use a web browser. The following browsers are supported:

Mozilla Firefox 20-25
Internet Explorer 8-10

In order for Viewpoint to run correctly in Internet Explorer, you must navigate to Tools > Compatibility View Settings and uncheck the Display intranet sites in Compatibility View box.
