Assigning tenants to nodes

Context

Only users, groups, or other LDAP entities that make up a tenant may view or perform actions on the tenant's node. From the Node Management page, you can assign a tenant to a node. These steps explain how this is to be done.

To assign a tenant to a node

  1. Go to the Node Management page (Datacenter > Node Management). For more information, see Fields: Node Management.
  2. Identify the node(s) in the list that you want to assign a tenant. (You can search, sort, and page to find the node you are looking for. For more information, see Searching, sorting, and filtering nodes.)
  3. Select the node(s) you want to assign a tenant. You can select multiple contiguous nodes by using the Shift key as you select the bottom of the list you want to modify, and you can select multiple scattered nodes by using the Ctrl key as you select each one individually.
  4. Choose Assign Tenant.

    5. A window appears and asks you to choose a tenant to assign to the selected node(s).

  5. Select the tenant from the drop-down box and click Ok to assign the tenant to the selected node(s), or choose Cancel to cancel. To unassign the selected nodes from a tenant, select None and click Ok.

    6. A confirmation statement appears and tells you if your request to assign a tenant to the node(s) was submitted successfully or not.
