To modify a quote, use the command gchquote:
gchquote [-s start_time] [-e end_time] [-d description] [-X, --extension property=value]... [--debug] [--site site_name] [--help] [--man] [--quiet] [--verbose] [--version] {[-q] quote_id}
Example 9-4: Changing the expiration time of a quote
$ gchquote -e "2014-05-01" 1
Successfully modified 1 quote
