Configuring Homepage gadgets

Viewpoint ships with default Homepage gadgets. (For a list of default gadgets, see Homepage gadgets.) However, you can also cause the Homepage to display custom gadgets as well.

Gadgets are managed in the homepage.xml file. In this file, you can add the URLs to custom gadgets (for more information, see Adding a custom Homepage gadget), and customize the size and layout of the gadgets on the Homepage (for more information, see Customizing Homepage gadget layout).

Homepage gadgets may not display properly in Internet Explorer 7. If you run Internet Explorer 7, you can set the graphical gadgets to display as text only. For more information, see Displaying gadgets as "text only".
