The Create Custom Virtual Machine page lets you specify the name and resources (including extra storage) of a new custom virtual machine service.

Service Options
Name
Lets you specify a unique, descriptive name for the VM you are creating.
This field is required.
Virtual machine options
Operating system
Lets you select which of the available operating systems you would like to run on the VM.
Image
Lets you choose an image for the VM.
The contents of this drop-down change depending on which Operating system you selected.
Processors
Lets you specify the number of processors allocated to the VM. The maximum number of processors you can have is 4.
This field is required.
Memory
Lets you specify the amount of memory allocated to the VM. The maximum amount of RAM you can specify is 8 GB.
Virtual Disk Size (GB)
Lets you specify the amount of disk space allocated to the VM. The maximum amount of disk space you can specify is 1000 GB.
Storage options
These fields let you add storage to your VM service, if desired.
Lets you specify a drive to use for the VM's storage.
Lets you specify the amount of space allocated to the storage.
Add storage
Lets you add storage to your VM service, as you have configured it in the Mount and Size (GB) fields.
Add to cart
Lets you add the custom virtual machine service, as you have configured it, to your cart.
If all parts of the form have been completed correctly, a message will appear and notify you that your service has been added successfully to your cart, and you will be able to see the service when you hover over the cart icon. For more information, see Using the cart.
