Requesting a custom virtual machine service

When you request a service, you can create your own custom virtual machine service to request. You can customize your service parameters and storage requirements.

To request a custom virtual machine service

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Go to the New Service page (Services > New Service).

      • Or

    • Go to the Service Management page (Services > Service Management) and select New (for more information, see Fields: Service Management).

    2. The New Service page appears. For more information, see Fields: New Service.

  2. Choose Custom virtual machine.

    3. The Create Custom Virtual Machine page opens. For more information, see Fields: Create Custom Virtual Machine.

  3. Do the following:
    1. Complete the Service options fields as desired (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Virtual Machine).
    2. Configure the VM's resources using the Virtual machine options fields (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Virtual Machine).
    3. (Optional) Add storage to the VM service using the Storage options fields (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Virtual Machine).
  4. Once you have configured your VM service as desired, choose Add to cart to add it to the cart.

After you have added your custom service to the cart, you can go to the Cart Details page to review your order and submit your request. For more information, see Using the cart.
