Powering VMs on/off

From the Virtual Machine Management page, you can power a VM on or off. These steps explain how this is to be done.

To power a VM on/off

  1. Go to the Virtual Machine Management page (Administration > VM Management). For more information, see Fields: Virtual Machine Management.
  2. Identify the VM(s) in the list that you want to power on/off. (You can search, sort, and page to find the VM you are looking for. For more information, see Searching and sorting VMs.)
  3. Select the VM(s) you want to power on or off. (Click once to select. Click again to deselect).
  4. Choose Power On/Power Off.

    5. A confirmation window appears and asks if you are sure you want to power the VM(s) on/off.

  5. Choose Yes to power the VM(s) on/off, or choose No to cancel.

    6. A confirmation statement appears and tells you if your request to power the VM(s) on/off was submitted successfully or not.
