Searching and sorting VMs

To search for VMs

  1. Go to the Virtual Machine Management page (Administration > VM Management). For details, see Fields: Virtual Machine Management.
  2. Enter your search terms in the text box.
  3. You should not use the ampersand (&) character in your search.

  4. Use the drop-down to narrow your search to a specific field.
  5. Select the Search icon or press Enter to do the search.
  6. The list updates to show only the VMs that match your search criteria.

To sort VMs in the list

  1. Go to the Virtual Machine Management page (Administration > VM Management). For details, see Fields: Virtual Machine Management.
  2. (Optional) Search for VMs (see To search for VMs).
  3. Click the field you want to sort by. For example, if you want to sort by name, click the Name column.
  4. Click once to sort in alpha-numeric ascending order; twice to sort descending order.

The VMs in the list reorder to match your sort selection.
