Reserving Nodes

Context

From the Node Management page, you can create a reservation on a node or set of nodes. These steps explain how this is to be done.

To make a reservation on a node

  1. Go to the Node Management page (Datacenter > Node Management). For more information, see Fields: Node Management.
  2. Identify the node(s) in the list that you want to reserve. (You can search, sort, and page to find the node you are looking for. For more information, see Searching, sorting, and filtering nodes.)
  3. Select the node(s) you want to power on or off.
  4. Choose Make Reservation.

    5. Viewpoint redirects you to the New Reservation page, and the node(s) you selected for reservation are already specified in the Resources. Complete the other fields as necessary (for more information, see Fields: New Reservation).
