Configuring the Automatic Virtual Machine Migration policy

Context

On the Viewpoint Policy Management page, you can modify the settings of the Automatic Virtual Machine Migration policy. This policy controls how and when Moab moves virtual machines from one hypervisor to another.

To configure the Automatic Virtual Machine Migration policy

  1. Go to the Policy Management page (Administration > Policy Management).
  2. Select the Automatic Virtual Machine Migration policy from the list of policies. For more information, Fields: Policy Management.

    3. You cannot make changes to an inactive policy. You must first turn on the policy in order to save modifications to it.

  3. Complete the fields as necessary to configure or modify the policy. For details, see Fields: Automatic Virtual Machine Migration.
  4. Choose Save to save the policy settings.
