The Reset Defaults section of Viewpoint Configuration lets you restore the page and gadget permissions back to their default settings.
The option on this page is highly destructive and should be used with caution.
Reset defaults
Reset MWS domain permissions and Viewpoint page and gadget permissions
Purges all of your previously configured permissions and roles and replaces them with the 7.5.0 defaults. Also purges your previously-configured page and gadget (and all custom) permissions and restores the Viewpoint 7.5.0 default permissions for the default roles (for more information, see About role management).
Warning: This option removes all roles and permissions, resets the delivered (out of the box) roles and permissions (see Default role permissions). This option also re-creates the delivered roles—with their corresponding default permissions—if you had previously deleted them.
If you choose this option, you must reassign principals (users, groups, or OUs).
This action cannot be undone.
