About notification management

Notifications in Viewpoint offer users a quick glance into what is happening in their system. Notifications display on a per-user basis, depending on the user tenant and permissions. Notifications contain messages, similar to events. However, with notifications, messages display on a persistent condition of the system or component, rather than on a single occurrence. In other words, notifications display a "something is wrong," rather than a "something went wrong" message. For example, if a request to MWS fails because the connection between Moab and MongoDB is misconfigured, the failed request may be represented as an event; however, a notification condition exists that the connection between Moab and MongoDB is down.
