Hiding notifications
From the Notification drop-down, you can select a specific notification that you want to hide. For example, let's say you get a notification for a node (we'll call it node15) regarding a certain attribute, but you know that node15 will soon be removed from your system. In this case, you can hide that notification so that you quit seeing its re-occurrence in the Notification drop-down.
Hiding a notification is similar to dismissing a notification, except that when you hide a notification, it will not reappear in the list if it occurs again. In the case that the notification reoccurs, it will not be displayed in the Notifications drop-down.
You can view hidden notifications on the Notification Management page. There, you can also unhide notifications if you wish. For more information, see Fields: Notification Management.
To hide a notification
- Do one of the following:
- Open the Notifications drop-down (for more information, see Fields: Notifications drop-down), click a specific notification to view its details, and click Hide (
). - Go to the Notification Management page, select the notification you want to hide, and click Hide.
Or
- Open the Notifications drop-down (for more information, see Fields: Notifications drop-down), click a specific notification to view its details, and click Hide (
The notification you hide will no longer appear in the Notifications drop-down, even if the notification reoccurs.
