2.1.3 Connecting to Moab Web Services via the interface

To connect to Moab Web Services through the Viewpoint interface

1. Open Viewpoint in a browser using the following URL: http://[localhost]:8080/moab. Log in with the default User name and Password (admin/admin). For information about changing the default password, see Changing user passwords in the User Guide.
2. Click the Configuration button in the navigation bar.
3. In the left navigation pane, click MWS connection.

A configuration form appears on the right.



4. Fill in each field with the information requested.

Field	Description
Host	Name of the server hosting Moab Web Services.
Username	Name of the user that communicates with Moab Web Services.
Port	Port that Viewpoint will use to communicate with the Moab Web Services.
Version Id	Version of Moab Web Services that is being used. This field is for display only and is not editable.
Build	Build number of Moab Web Services.
Build Date	Date the Moab Web Services build was created.
Revision	Revision number of Moab Web Services.
Password	Password being used to communicate with Moab Web Services.

5. Click Update.
6. When you are redirected to Config Home, verify that no errors are present in the Viewpoint configuration. If an error does appear under the MWS header, click the error to be taken back to the configuration page and make any necessary modifications.
7. Restart the Tomcat server.

> service tomcat stop

> service tomcat start
