By default, the Reporting Portal is not configured in Viewpoint. For information about enabling this functionality, please contact Adaptive Computing Professional Services.
When Adaptive Computing Professional Services has enabled Reporting for your instance of Viewpoint, reports included in the reporting.xml file appear on the Reporting page. You can use the Reporting page as a resource for viewing reports in the Viewpoint interface. For a list of default reports, see Report types. Administrators can also configure custom reports in the reporting.xml file. These reports can also be configured, with roles and permissions, to appear on the Reporting page. For more information, see About role management.
From the Reporting page, you can run reports and view them in HTML, PDF, or Microsoft Excel formats. For more information, see Running and viewing reports.
The following sections describe how to use the Reporting page interface to find reports and view them in the format of your choice.
