Setting the MWS configuration

Context

On the MWS Configuration form, you can set your Viewpoint connection to Moab Web Services. You will want to do this once when you first install or upgrade Viewpoint and any time you need to make a change to your MWS-Viewpoint configuration.

To set your MWS configuration

  1. As an administrator with Viewpoint configuration privileges, go to the Configuration page and choose the MWS Configuration option (Administration > Configuration). For more information, see Fields: Configuration Overview.

    2. The MWS Configuration form appears.

  2. Complete the fields, as necessary. For details, see Fields: MWS Configuration.
  3. When you are finished, choose Update to save your changes.

  4. When you are redirected to Configuration Home, verify that no errors are present in the MWS configuration. If an error does appear under the MWS header, click the error to be taken back to the configuration page and make any necessary modifications. For more information, see Fields: Configuration Overview.

Any time you make changes to the MWS configuration, you will need to log out of Viewpoint and then log back in.
