On this page, you can specify which VMs and hypervisors to exclude from all automatic live migration policies. For more information, see Configuring the Automatic Virtual Machine Migration policy.
On/Off
Lets you turn the Migration Exclusion policy on or off.
You cannot make changes to the policy until it is turned on.
Hypervisors
Lets you specify the name of the hypervisor you want to exclude from migration policy settings. This field is an auto-complete field. Begin typing the name of the hypervisor and select it from the list that appears. To add a hypervisor to the exclusion list, click the Add icon (
). To remove a hypervisor, click the Remove icon (
).
Virtual Machines
Lets you specify the name of the Virtual Machine you want to exclude from migration policy settings. This field is an auto-complete field. Begin typing the name of the VM and select it from the list that appears. To add a VM to the exclusion list, click the Add icon (). To remove a VM, click the Remove icon ().
When a VM service ends or is deleted, Viewpoint automatically removes it from the Migration Exclusion list.
Apply
Lets you save changes to the policy form and redirects you to the Policy Management page (see Fields: Policy Management).
Cancel
Lets you revert all your changes on the policy form.
