Creating a new reservation
Context
You can create a Moab reservation from within Viewpoint from through Reservation Management, or through Node Management.
To create a new reservation
Do one of the following:
Go to the New Reservations page (Cluster > New Reservation).
Go to the Reservation Management page (Cluster > Reservation Management), and choose New. For more information, see Fields: Reservation Management.
Go to the Node Management page (Cluster > Node Management), select the node(s) you want to reserve, and choose Make Reservation. For more information, see Reserving Nodes.
The New Reservation page displays.
Complete the forms as necessary to specify reservation settings, access controls, scheduling start and end times, and the resources you want to reserve. For details, see Fields: New Reservation.
When you are satisfied with the form, choose Save to submit the reservation.
If the reservation is created successfully, you will be redirected to the Reservation Management page. For more information, see Fields: Reservation Management.
