Requesting a custom physical machine service

When you request a service, you can create your own custom physical machine service to request. You can customize your service parameters and storage requirements.

To request a custom physical machine service

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Go to the New Service page (Services > New Service).

      • Or

    • Go to the Service Management page (Services > Service Management) and select New (for more information, see Fields: Service Management).

    2. The New Service page appears. For more information, see Fields: New Service.

  2. Choose Custom physical machine.

    3. The Create Custom Physical Machine page opens. For more information, see Fields: Create Custom Physical Machine.

  3. Do the following:
    1. Complete the Service options fields as desired (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Physical Machine).
    2. Configure the PM's resources using the Physical machine options fields (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Physical Machine).
    3. (Optional) Add storage to the PM service using the Storage options fields (for details, see Fields: Create Custom Physical Machine).
  4. Once you have configured your PM service as desired, choose Add to cart to add it to the cart.

After you have added your custom service to the cart, you can go to the Cart Details page to review your order and submit your request. For more information, see Using the cart.
