Viewing service details

Context

From the Service Management page, you can drill down into a specific service to view detail information about it.

To view a service's details

  1. Go to the Service Management page (Services > Service Management). For details, see Fields: Service Management.
  2. Identify the service in the list that you want to view details for. (You can search, sort, and page to find the service you are looking for. For more information, see Searching, sorting, and filtering services.)
  3. Select the service you want to view and choose Details (or simply double-click the service).

    4. The Service Details page appears. Here, you can view detailed information about each component of the service (in the Properties tab), and information about all events that have occurred on the service component (in the History tab). For more information, see Fields: Service Details.

When you select a VM service component, an additional Advanced tab appears. The Advanced tab displays service policy settings for the VM. These policy settings are configurable on the page. For more information, see Modifying VM service policy settings.
