Creating a container template

To create a container template

  1. Go to the Service Template Management page (Catalog > Service Template Management).
  2. Select New.
  3. The Create Service Template page appears.

  4. Under the Template properties tab, specify "Container" as the Template type.
  5. Complete the other fields, as necessary. For details, see Fields: Template properties.
  6. Move to the Templates included tab.
  7. Select the templates (containers, VMs, PMs, and storage) that you want to include in this container template. For details, see Fields: Templates included.
  8. Move to the Sequence tab.
  9. Specify the dependencies between the templates. For details, see Fields: Sequence.
  10. Move to the Workload proximity tab.
  11. Move to the Summary tab.
  12. Here you can review the specifications of your container template. For details, see Fields: Summary.

  13. If you are satisfied with your container template setup, click Save template.

Your new container template now appears in the list of service templates on the Service Template Management page (see Fields: Service Template Management).
